Selection
Our commitment to quality begins with our choice of raw materials. We carefully select top-quality “merrain” wood staves that meet strict physical and analytical criteria, essential for the production of top-of-the-range products for winemaking.

Traceability
To guarantee the health safety of our products, our production site is HACCP-compliant. We ensure complete traceability, from the tree to the final packaging.

Analysis
We carry out regular analyses of aromatic compounds to ensure repeatability in the expression of our products. In-depth analyses are also carried out on our raw materials and finished products, including halophenols, haloanisoles, heavy metals, PAHs and volatile compounds.

Packaging
Our infusion nets are food-grade, and our packaging is specially designed to preserve flavor stability over time.

Health and safety
In our quest for continuous improvement, we have obtained FSSC 22000 food safety certification, recognized by the GFSI, to meet the requirements of major retailers, including the IFS and BRC standards.

Certifications
The majority of our products are certified or authorized by numerous standards. We work in particular with BIO, NOP and Vegan standards, with the objective of facilitating the use of our products by our customers, whatever their choice of certification. Throughout our production process, our woods are made with no addition of any chemicals, thus, they are suitable for BIO and NOP standards.

At Œnobois, quality, safety and environment are values deeply rooted in the way we work.
As part of our environmental and social policy, we are committed to respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the standards of the International Labour Organization. Œnobois is committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR). We have carried out an in-depth environmental analysis of our site, which has enabled us to highlight exemplary practices such as waste management, resource conservation, reducing waste and minimizing our consumption of resources.
We attach great importance to sustainable forest management, which is why we are committed to the PEFC program. In addition to our PEFC certification, we also support local agroforestry through a multi-year tree-planting program. What’s more, our wood manufacturing process generates no vegetal waste, and all production waste is recycled within our facilities.
