OUR EXPERTISE
Œnobois relies on a talented team and cutting-edge technologies to guarantee the excellence of its products. Our 14 experienced employees work with innovative production equipment.
Each crucial step in our process, such as ripening, grinding, visual checks and packaging, is subject to rigorous standards. This methodical approach ensures the consistency and reproducibility of our products.
We pay particular attention to the toasting of our woods, with the aim of enhancing their aromatic potential (production of vanillin, furfural, etc.) as well as their ability to structure wines (concentration of ellagitannins).
Our toasting processes use air convection, ensuring uniform heat that penetrates to the heart of the products, guaranteeing their homogeneity.
For staves, we also heat them a second time by radiation on the surface, giving them an additional aromatic complexity.

As part of our quality requirements, the design and marketing of our Œnobois products are covered by FSSC22000 certification.

Œnobois takes part in the fight against wood waste by working daily with unselected wood scraps from stave cutting. From this noble raw material, we produce our wood for oenology in a precise and repeatable way.
